The human practice of IOIM

Come do
the work.

Coaching, guided journeys, practitioner training, group work, team work, journaling, and community built around a simple movement: identify what is here, differentiate it clearly, then discover how the parts belong together.

IdentifyDifferentiateIntegrate
Keep the human side human.

Gathering, movement, joy, reflection, friendship, ritual, conversation, and shared work remain central to Inner Order.

Where the body meets people

Ancient human work.
Modern system language.

Inner Order was built around the intuition that a person can understand their inner world more clearly when its parts are named, separated enough to be seen, and then related consciously.

That original idea now sits inside a larger body of work. IHCPP gives us architecture. The Lantern gives us a light to carry. Traveler's Journey gives us movement through story. Inner Media gives us a place to map and journal the terrain.

Inner Order is where those things become practice.

Several doorways

One body of work.

Some people begin with structure. Some with a book. Some with a story. Some with a map. Some with a pattern they can no longer ignore.

IHCPP

Framework-first work through Identity, Heartmind, Collection, Power Form, and Personality.

Enter through structure

The Lantern

Book-guided journeys using Passage → Encounter → Return to turn reading into lived practice.

Enter through the book

Traveler's Journey

Story, symbol, threshold, character, encounter, and return wrapped around the same deeper architecture.

Enter through story

Inner Media

A living map where elements become places, links become relationships, and journaling becomes terrain.

Enter through the map

Enneagram

Identify a recurring pattern, differentiate the person from it, then integrate the information.

Enter through pattern

Who it is for

One framework.
Different scales.

The same practice of clean differentiation can be applied to an individual life, a coach's method, or a working team.

01 / INDIVIDUALS

Explore the territory that is actually asking for attention.

  • Identity and life transitions
  • Values, goals, patterns, and relationships
  • Lantern and Traveler journeys
  • Inner Media mapping
  • Enneagram coaching
02 / COACHES

Bring your method—or build one from the ground up.

  • Map existing programs into IHCPP
  • Design elements and relationships
  • Create journaling and Inner Media structures
  • Build practitioner guides
  • Train toward Guide pathways
03 / TEAMS

Treat the team as a human system without forgetting the humans.

  • Person vs. role boundaries
  • Values and shared identity
  • Agency and decision pathways
  • Recurring team behavior
  • Especially natural for technical teams

Program samples

Structures already taking shape.

Programs can be used as complete journeys, adapted to a particular population, or treated as examples of how IHCPP can hold different kinds of work.

Founder's Journey

Before there are roads, someone has to walk the ground.

Founders receive early access to Inner Media and foundational training, then help establish the first public trails through subjects they genuinely know and care about.

Choose a territoryJudo, Jung, JavaScript, grief, music, parenting, a craft, a field, a discipline.
Differentiate itCreate elements, sub-elements, relationships, and linked journal entries.
Publish selectivelyKeep private work private. Make chosen reflections available to the wider landscape.
Leave footprintsFuture Travelers can encounter public material when they carve the same territory into their own maps.

How Inner Media grows

Create the element.
Open the doorway.

When you create a place for a subject in your own map, public writing connected to that same territory can become discoverable through the element itself—not because you followed the author first.

That means the social layer grows out of differentiated meaning. A subject can become a shared landscape while each person's private map remains their own.

Pen, flame, and blade symbol

One emblem, three movements

The mark and
the method.

The emblem long predates the current IOIM body of work. It began as a graphic-design project while studying programming—before the framework, the books, or Inner Media had names. Only later did its three forms reveal the movement they had been carrying all along.

The Flame · Identify

Illuminate what was vague, hidden, fused, or simply not yet noticed. What was indistinct becomes visible enough to name.

The Blade · Differentiate

Give what has appeared an edge. Separate this from that, person from pattern, role from identity, signal from confusion.

The Pen · Integrate

Reflect, journal, relate, map, and return differentiated parts to a larger whole without collapsing their distinctions.

[ INNER | ORDER ]

The vertical bar marks a distinction. The brackets hold differentiated parts within a greater relationship.

The katana is deliberate. Rinzai Zen was an early influence, and in The Lantern: Identity that influence appears as disciplined questioning: not answers imposed on the reader, but questions that cut at illusion and invite the reader to make the distinction for themselves.

What began as an image became a method. What became a method grew into a body of work.

Begin somewhere real

You do not need the whole map before taking the first step.

Begin with the part of your life, practice, field, or team that is actually asking to be seen more clearly.
